Another advantage for LazMall sellers is the guarantee that their products are authentic. They also make sure that online shoppers can have a great shopping experience.
Sellers under this type of account can get more trust from customers because they carry the LazMall logo. But, Lazada commissions fees for products sold under the LazMall account.
Local sellers are individuals who are based in the Philippines. Beginner entrepreneurs usually start their online business as local sellers.
They also have access to the online seller tool. One great advantage of this account is that Lazada will not charge a commission from local sellers.
LazGlobal sellers are based in Hongkong, Macau, China, Taiwan, South Korea or Japan. They also have access to platform seller tools. But they have to be a registered business.
LazGlobal sellers can ship their products through Lazada’s overseas sort center. Like the LazMall seller, they also have to give a commission to Lazada on every product they sold.

How to Register in Lazada as Seller
Register an Online Seller Account
Before you register for an online seller account, make sure that you have completed all the required documents.
The first thing to do is to fill out a Lazada online seller registration form. It is located at the Seller Center website or mobile app. There are different registration forms for different types of online sellers.
Have a clear photo of your documents and ID. Also, prepare your bank account information. Take note that you will receive your payments every week via bank transfer.
Wait for about a week after submitting your registration form. Lazada will review your application. If your account proves, you will receive a call or an email. With it are the instructions on how you can proceed with your online selling business.
Add Your Products
For online seller newbies, Lazada would need you to have at least five or more products to sell. Some products are also not allowed to sell like weapons, malicious software and the like.

There are two shipping options that Lazada provides. Here are the two options:
- Fulfillment by Lazada: These are products stored in Lazada fulfillment centers. Lazada handles the packaging and shipping of products. Sellers are charged based on the numbers of their shipped orders.
- Seller Self-shipping: With this option, the seller handles the whole shipping process. From inventory, packaging, labeling, to shipping the products to customers.
To view the pending orders for shipping, click “Orders”, then click “Forward orders”. Lastly, tap the “Pending” icon.
Payments are sent by Lazada to your bank account every week. If you want to check your account statement, just visit the seller center website or mobile app.
How to be as Shopee Online Seller
Are you eyeing Shopee as your online selling platform? Well, becoming a Shopee seller is simple and easy.
Shopee ranks as one of the top e-commerce platforms. This platform was founded in 2015. Since then, it is growing among the other e-commerce platforms in the market.
Before registering for a Shopee seller account, there are different types of Shopee Online Seller that you need to know.
Shopee Mall Seller
These type of sellers are official distributors and brand owners that are members of the Shopee Mall. They offer licensed and authentic products that help sellers to gain more trust from customers.
These are elite seller groups that are labeled “Preferred”. If you want to be a preferred seller, you must have excellent customer service and sales records. You should have high seller ratings. The product listings are of high quality and competitive prices.
Only those who receive invitations on this program can have the advantage to be a member.
Shopee also accepts sellers from outside the Philippines. Most of the sellers on this type are based in China and South Korea.
No Label or Marketplace Seller

Requirements For Shopee Sellers

How to be a Shopee Online Seller
Download the Shopee App
If you do not have the app yet, you can download it from Google Play Store or App Store.
Complete the Online Registration Form
Open the app then click “Sign Up”. Fill out the Shopee Online Seller sign-up form. Then click the “Submit” button.
Enter your mobile number and password. You can also use your Facebook or Email as your logging-in option.
To complete your registration, you should verify your registered mobile number. If you did not verify your account, customers will not be able to see your products.
Create Your Account
The Shopee Sales representative will send you a text message or email five days after you have registered your account. They will also send you a message that will help you set up your online store.
Upload Your Products
There are products that are not allowed to sell in Shopee. Those are medicines, stolen goods, weapons, fireworks and explosives and the like. So, before you post your products, make sure that they are not listed on the prohibited products.
