Step 1. LERIS PRC Online Registration 

Online registration is a must-do for the PRC ID process. You need to visit the PRC Online Services or LERIS website

Navigate to the Register tab and review the provided Terms and Conditions. Click the “I Agree” button to continue. Then, complete the online form by providing the required details.

Afterward, create and confirm a password, then check the CAPTCHA checkbox. Finally, click the “Register” button to finalize the registration process.

Step 2. PRC Online Profile Creation

Once you are registered, you must create your profile. Start by visiting the PRC Online Services website. Then, sign in with the email address and password you used during your registration.

Enter the necessary personal information as requested. After providing your details, save the information and proceed by clicking the “Next” button.

Upload a JPEG format picture of your identification. Then, click the “Select Transaction” button to specify the type of transaction you wish to pursue.

Under the “Initial Registration” tab, select your profession and input your application number as indicated. Lastly, click the “Proceed” button.

Step 3. Set a PRC Online Appointment

You can create an online appointment for your PRC ID with your account correctly set up. 

Select your preferred PRC branch from the available options in the drop-down menu. Choose the most convenient or nearest your area. Then, click “Proceed” to move forward.

Examine your appointment details and ensure you selected the correct date and time. Confirm your appointment by clicking “Book your appointment.”

Step 4. Pay the PRC ID Fee

You must pay the initial registration fee to secure your preferred slot schedule. Use your chosen payment method to complete the payment from various methods.

  • BancNet/LANDBANK/GCash

  • UCPB (Over-the-counter/UCPB Connect/UCPB Mobile App)

Next, carefully review the Transaction Summary. Click the “Submit” button to proceed with the payment transaction, following the prompts for your chosen payment method. 

Step 5. Print the PRC Oath Form

Once your payment is confirmed, print the Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal.

Access “Existing Transaction” and verify your payment status. To check, click the “Payment Details” button. With your payment verification, select the “Print Document” button

The PRC Oath Form will be displayed. Proceed the printing process by clicking the Print icon at the top of the document.

Step 6. Bring the PRC ID Initial Registration Requirements to the PRC branch

With everything in hand, be present at your scheduled appointment. 

Visit your selected PRC office on your scheduled appointment date. Head to the Customer Service Center and pay for the documentary stamp PRC. One of the stamps is for the Oath Form, while the other is for the Registration Certificate.

Present your printed Oath Form for verification at the assigned window. Then, sign on the Registry Sheet and provide your thumbprint. Afterward, submit all the other required documents. How to Claim a PRC ID in 2023?

What is the Meaning of CPD Units?

CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development. It is the ongoing process of maintaining and enhancing a professional’s skills and knowledge. It is a vital practice that should be consistently pursued throughout your career. The CPD policy has been in effect since the PRC amended certain sections of the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of the CPD Act of 2016, as outlined in PRC Resolution No. 2019-114610. Engaging in CPD contributes to career advancement. Also, it enables you to make a meaningful impact in your role and enhance the quality of your service.

The PRC specified the implementation of a transition period for adherence to the CPD Law. As a result, professionals are currently permitted to renew their PRC IDs even if they still need to satisfy the mandatory CPD unit requirements fully.

CPD Units

CPD units serve as metrics for your involvement in educational activities to sustain, develop, or enhance your professional competence and expertise. The equivalence is 1 CPD unit to 1 hour of actual learning time devoted to an activity. The specific requirement for CPD units varies depending on your profession. 

As an illustration, nurses must obtain 15 CPD units every three years, whereas accountants must amass 15 CPD units every two years.

You can accrue CPD units by participating in development programs like seminars and graduate studies. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, online courses and webinars are also available.

Is a PRC License renewal possible without CPD unit requirements?

Indeed, you can renew your PRC license even if you lack or have incomplete CPD units. As of October 2022, the PRC has extended the acceptance of CPD undertaking for PRC license renewal. Now, you can renew your PIC until December 31, 2023. 

The full enforcement of the CPD unit requirement by the PRC will only take effect after December 31, 2023. However, the CPD Undertaking is only temporary. If you have submitted a CPD Undertaking, you must still fulfill the CPD requirements during the subsequent renewal cycle.

How to Renew PRC License Online?

Professionals registered in the Philippines can apply for the online renewal of their PRC IDs. The PRC ID renewal schedule falls on or before the professional’s birth month every three years. You can initiate it as early as 10 months before the ID expires if you comply with the CPD law.


Below is a step-by-step guide on scheduling an online appointment through LERIS to renew your PRC license.

Step 1. Complete all the PRC Renewal requirements.

PRC renewal requirements 2023 differ across professions. Before anything else, initiate your online PRC renewal with the necessary documents. Most importantly, your accumulated CPD units hold significant importance.

Step 2. Go to the PRC LERIS website

Navigate to the official website of LERIS PRC. It is the same website where you applied for a PRC ID. Sometimes, the website could be more inaccessible. If it is undergoing maintenance, revisit it at a later time. 

Step 3. Log in to your PRC Online Renewal Account

If you already have an account, navigate to the Sign In section on the homepage. Provide your login details and authenticate your identity. Complete it by confirming the “I’m not a robot.” Then, click the “Sign In” button to initiate the renewal application.

You must create a new account if registered on the old PRC website. Your login details from the old site are no longer valid on PRC’s new website. 

Here’s what to do if you don’t have an existing account.  

  • Access the Register section on PRC’s homepage for those. 
  • Understand the terms of service before selecting the “I Agree” button
  • Create a new account. It must have a functional Gmail address, current contact number, updated ID photo, and Valid ID. Your personal information, such as complete name, gender, civil status, birthdate, and strong password, must be accurate, too. 


Your password must be a minimum of six characters with a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters. 

Step 4. Complete your PRC Online Profile

With a PRC account, log in and create your LERIS profile using your email address and password. Here are the details you need. 

  • Personal information
  • Contact details
  • Family background
  • Education
  • Employment

  • Disability, if there’s any

Upon completing the profile creation page, click the “Save Information” button.


As you are in the PRC ID renewal process, check the box indicating “Check if this is for PRC ID Renewal.” No additional details are required in this section, as your existing PRC license is already a valid ID. Any information entered in this section will be automatically cleared upon marking the checkbox.

Step 5. Upload a Clear and Updated Photo

Select the Camera icon for photo upload. Carefully read and follow all the photo requirements and guidelines. 

These are the picture requirements:

  • 2 x 2 photo size
  • It should have a white background.
  • Recent picture within the last six months
  • Professional attire worn has a collar.
  • Avoid wearing glasses during the photo session.
  • The photo should closely resemble the applicant.
  • Ensure the ears are not covered.
  • No shadows should be present in the photo.

Click “Proceed” to initiate the photo upload. Choose a photo and zoom your photo in or out until it fits before clicking “Upload Image.” It completes the upload of your selected photo.

Step 6. Set a PRC Renewal Appointment.

After completing your profile, click “Select Transaction.” Then, choose Renewal among the available transaction options.

Choose your profession from the drop-down menu provided. Afterwards, input your PRC License Number. Then, click the “Proceed” button to continue the transaction.

You must select your desired PRC Regional Office or Service Center. Pick where to collect your renewed ID, specifically the most convenient PRC branch. The system will automatically generate your appointment date and time. Then, click “Proceed” to continue.


You can reschedule your appointment only once. Click on “Reschedule?” and choose your new appointment date. Then, provide a valid reason for the schedule change.

The PRC follows a “no same-day appointment” policy. It means all appointments must have an advance online booking. You cannot secure an appointment with them the same day you conduct your online transaction.

Step 7. Pay the PRC ID Renewal Fee

As of today, you have five payment options for PRC ID renewal.

  • Credit or Debit Card (Powered by Maya – VISA). It directly deducts the PRC renewal fee from your account. The convenience fee costs 1.25%. 
  • Maya. You can swiftly pay the PRC renewal fee with a Maya wallet. The convenience fee costs Php 8.00.
  • Land Bank. You can pay the fee directly via the Land Bank ePayment portal with your Land Bank account, which costs Php 10.00. With this, payment is also possible with a BancNet or GCash wallet that costs Php 20.00.
  • UCPB. For UCPB, you will receive a reference number on the screen. Take a photo or screenshot it. Then, proceed to the nearest UCPB Branch and complete the bill payment form. Afterward, present the screenshot or printed copy of the PRC payment reference number. Finish it off with a deposit transaction. The convenience fee costs Php 30.00. In addition, the payment validation is within 2 to 3 working days.
  • PRC-Cashier. Select this option for over-the-counter payment at a PRC Regional Office or Service Center. There is no convenience fee for this transaction.

You can check if your payment pushed through by visiting the “Existing Transaction” tab. You can verify the payment details. Also, you can wait and see the status to be updated to “Paid.” After successful payment, print the document by clicking the “Print Document” button.

Step 8. Visit the PRC branch you booked. 

Be present at your chosen PRC office on your appointment date. Present the printed documents to ensure you are well-prepared for your PRC ID renewal process. These are as follows: 

  • Certificates with CPD units (original and photocopy)
  • Expiring PRC ID (original and photocopy)
  • Printed Online Application for Professional ID Card

Step 9. Wait for your renewed PRC ID

You can get your renewed PRC ID on the scheduled appointment date. A PRC personnel will call your name to release your brand-new PRC license.

What are the Requirements for Initial Registration PRC?

If you belong to the new board exam passers group, you must have the following documents for the PRC initial registration.

Community Tax Certificate. Cedula is a document acquired from the barangay or municipal hall. Information from the cedula will be required when completing the Oath form.

Oath form. You must print and fully complete it with essential details.

Passport-sized photographs (2). The photo must differ from what you submitted when applying for the exam. The photos should be 2 x 2 inches in size, in color, against a plain white background. Access the online PRC portal through the LERIS. If you already have an account, there’s no need to reenter the registration process. Sign in using the same email address and password you used in your previous transaction.

Step 2. Choose your transaction purpose. 

On your profile page, you can access your details and photo. Click the “Select Transaction”  button that will prompt you to choose from various tabs. 

As a new passer, select the second tab, “Initial Registration.” Fill in the necessary information, including your chosen profession and application number. You can find it on your Notice of Admission (NOA). Once done, click “Proceed” to advance to the next stage.

Step 3. Schedule an appointment.

You have two ways to book a PRC appointment. 

Choose the nearest PRC Regional Office. If available appointment slots are still open, the date and time for your appointment will be automatically generated for you. 

Schedule appointments in advance. Same-day appointment after an online transaction is not available.

If there is no conflict with the scheduled appointment, click “Proceed.”

Alternatively, you can select the “Reschedule” option. It is below the appointment date and time. If you wish to choose another appointment slot, provide the reason for changing your appointment date and proceed to the next step.


Appointment slots are free. Avoid fixers who engage in unofficial transactions for a substantial fee. Most importantly, bring your PRC requirements on your appointed date.

Step 4. Choose the payment option.

Your PRC online appointment will be valid once you have paid the necessary registration fee.

PRC provides users with various payment options:

  • PRC Cashier
  • UCPB (United Coconut Planter’s Bank)

Step 5. Visit the PRC office as scheduled.

To complete this step, input your Application Number from your NOA and click “Proceed.” It will direct you to the appointment module.


The PRC system has an automatic verification process. It allows only those who have passed their respective licensure examinations and possess valid application numbers to continue with the transaction.

Step 3. Pick an appointment schedule.

In the appointment module, choose your preferred PRC Regional Office. Then, click “Next,” and the system will automatically present you with the earliest available date for the online oath-taking.

After reading the virtual oath-taking guidelines, click “Submit Application” to continue. Then, a confirmation message will appear. It will include a reference number and a summary of your transaction.

Under the “Existing Transaction,” you will find all your current transactions that you can print. Select what you need. 

Step 6. Wait for the email confirmation.

You will receive a confirmation email with the invitation link and password for the video conference. It is usually via Microsoft Teams or Zoom for the online oath-taking. Often, the email is sent 1-3 days before the scheduled virtual or online oath-taking.

The video conferencing platform for the virtual oath-taking can vary based on your profession. Stay tuned for the official announcement from the PRC. Additionally, ensure you have a quality webcam, microphone, and a well-organized setup area. A stable internet connection is a must-have. The designated area for the oath-taking ceremony should have minimal distractions or background noise. This way, you can maintain the solemnity of the virtual event.

Step 8. Observe the pre-ceremony protocols.

Be prepared for the online oath-taking ceremony while observing the following:

  • Dress in formal or business attire.
  • Maintain a white backdrop throughout the ceremony.
  • Access the invitation link sent to your email. Be in the meeting 15 minutes before the online oath-taking begins. For instance, if your ceremony is at 10:00 AM, the waiting period is from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. Latecomers are not welcome.
  • Use only one device. Do not share the link details with unauthorized individuals. Inductees using multiple names or appearing more than once in the list of participants equated to have shared the link with unauthorized individuals. It clearly violates the rules and results in automatic disqualification from the online oath-taking. As a result, you cannot be readmitted. Still, you can schedule a new oath taking appointment.

Step 9. Take your Oath. 

The online oath-taking ceremony will follow this sequence:

  • Invocation
  • National Anthem
  • Welcome Remarks
  • Roll Call of the Inductees
  • Recital of the Professional’s Oath
  • Closing Remarks

Participants must maintain proper decorum throughout the event. During the online oath-taking, you should not leave the video conference, raise your voice, answer phone calls, or engage in distracting activities. Also, keep your audio on MUTE mode, except when participating in the recital of the professional’s oath.


You can apply for a new schedule if absent during your online oath-taking ceremony. However, be ready to spend more for rescheduling.
