Step 1. Visit the NBI Clearance official website

Click this NBI Online Registration Link: https://clearance.nbi.gov.ph/. It will lead you to the legit NBI page with a pop-up titled “Data Privacy Content.” 

You must read the statement carefully before clicking the “I Agree” option.

Afterward, another pop-up labeled “Advisory” will appear. Ensure you read this, then click the “Close” button to continue.

Step 2. Complete your NBI Clearance Online Registration

If you’re a first-time job applicant, look at the bottom part of the page. There is a yellow box labeled “First-time Jobseekers.” Click on this box if it applies to your situation.

A “Notice” window will appear on the screen. Take a moment to read it carefully, then click the “Okay” button to proceed.

If you don’t belong to First-time Jobseeker, you can use the right side of the page. Answer the question if you already have an NBI clearance issued from 2014 onwards.

If you answer “yes,” you’ll see a shorter form since your process is NBI Clearance online renewal. 

But if it is a “no,” you will deal with a longer NBI appointment form. You must provide additional personal information and registration credentials.

Go through the online appointment form and all the details requested. When you’ve completed it, tick the box certifying that you’ve read and understood the terms of services.

7-Eleven. Most 7-Eleven branches accept payments for your NBI clearance fee.

Fees to Pay

Starting March 12, 2018, the NBI charges Php130 for every NBI Clearance Certificate from the original Php115 in compliance with the Documentary Stamp Tax (DST) rate adjustment. 

In addition, there is a transaction fee of Php25 for the e-payment service.

The total amount you have to pay for your NBI Clearance online certificate is Php155.

Regular NBI Clearance Online Renewal 

Regular NBI Clearance renewal is a traditional method for applicants with a limited budget. Your clearance certificate has a faster release date. Sometimes, it is as quick as within the same day. However, the release speed depends on the NBI renewal center you book an appointment with. Also, it would be best if you considered whether any hits in your record require further verification.

However, it only applies to the applicant’s clearance released from October 16, 2016 onwards.
